The yarns, needles and fabrics have become warriors for peace in Mexico. In cities like Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla and Mexico City, men and women of all ages have decided to share their thoughts and experiences on violence, participating in a collective movement through embroidery. In the main squares in each city, citizens gather on Sundays and seat to embroider, weave hope and memory of a country thirsty for peace.
